RELIABILITY TESTING

Reliability measurement before going into production

Software reliability testing, for the most part, is intended to support the development or QA stages.

In the generation of some project or update required by the payment ecosystem, however, among these are also the reliability tests that are executed just before going to production with customers with a very different mission than the other tests and with the same main objective: to ensure a continuous and efficient operation.

What is the main purpose of reliability testing and what is the stage at which it is applied?

Within the construction of a payment system, reliability can be defined as the possibility for the software to function without any failures in a particular environment or a specific situation. This is specifically what reliability testing refers to, the process that is carried out in a controlled environment to ensure the flawless operation of the platform.
If a software works in this controlled environment in which you have decided to test it for a certain and agreed time, it is recognized as a reliable software that is ready to reach the production stage and be used by your customers, ensuring product availability and fault tolerance.
These tests not only guarantee that the user will continue to trust your company, but also have other benefits such as saving resources by having testing systems prior to the production stage that can prevent any type of error in the system; improvements are identified, reducing the risk of software unavailability; specific project deadlines are met by not having delays at the operational level and, in particular, processes are made more efficient, allowing your company to protect its identity in the market.

Let's connect the world together

At CLAI PAYMENTS® Technologies we have developed and perfected this type of testing through PAYTESTER®, a payment simulator and testing system that, besides allowing you to identify transactional limits and work on the prevention and recognition of the reasons for different service breaks, helps you to clearly understand how the transaction load can affect your payment systems and the limitations or errors in order to always be one step ahead.
