DSA Technology Integration: Transaction Management and Fraud Reduction

The technology that promises retailers, issuers, merchants and processors to facilitate the use of the network in transactions and payments directly, speeding up the implementation of more digital options for their customers is now a reality in the continent.

Ensuring agility in the development of digital transactions is a growing priority, for 61% of companies that are linked to the payments business, APIs are a high priority. MasterCard has made available Direct Service Access (DSA) services to reduce the impact on security and facilitate transactions for issuers, merchants and processors around the world, using certain services designed to handle real-time transactions internally.

In the Americas, the first to integrate and join this technology has been BCI Servicios Financieros, in Chile, who opening a range of new payment possibilities through smart devices, handling their transactions directly, facilitating the processing and authorization, will provide its customers the integration of their mobile devices and smartwatch to make contactless payments securely, linking their account through GooglePay and wearable devices such as Fitbit and Garmin.

This technological integration reduces the risk of fraud, thanks to the process of protecting cardholder data, as it is replaced from a dynamic component with an alternative number (Token), facilitating the recall in payment applications but without generating the exposure of sensitive data and information of means of payment of cardholders, so users can streamline transactions through the storage of credentials for purchases in electronic commerce (COF).

In the process of the first integration in the continent, CLAI PAYMENTS® Technologies has contributed in the technological implementation of DSA for BCI Financial Services, integrating the necessary processes of tokenization and brand standards, facilitating compliance with security protocols, thanks to the certification of PCI PA SSS and its experience in the agile integration of technology services in payment platforms.

If you would like to learn more about the standard please leave us your details, a specialist will contact you promptly.
